Blogging For Books & Give Away

What is it that always draws me to stories about beautiful Ballerinas I ask myself? Maybe because I have never been too graceful nor would you call me elegant, more like the proverbial bull in a china cupboard!  So, once again I was drawn to the Beautiful Ballerina story line In Charlene Ann Baumbich's book "Finding Our Way Home".

CRASH!...right from the beginning in busts the bull in the china closet and it is not me. Surprise! It is a very large boned, over-enthusiastic, whirlwind of pure delight named Evelyn Burt. Evelyn is interviewing for the job of personal assistant to the very stunning, very beautiful, very diminutive, but very damaged  Ballerina Ms. Sasha Davis. Her career has just recently come crashing to a halt by a horrible fall she took in one of her favorite Productions and her partner was non other than her very own dancer husband Donald Major. Her life has shattered as she has known it and she turns from a Princess Ballerina to an Ice-Queen in the matter of one unfortunate moment in time.
Evelyn is hired and very determined by her own gritty exuberance for life that she is going to help the Ice-Queen thaw and learn to enjoy living again...even if it kills her. Evelyn, always up for a good challenge is about to learn that her own life is going to become as broken as The Ice-Queen's. Can two completely devastated companions learn to hold each other up in the downward spirals of life? I encourage you to pick up this book and see just what amazing grace can do...when life seems to knock the props out from underneath you. From Grace to Grace and Everything in between...you will learn all about friendship, love, and adversities and how God can use it all for everyone's good and God's glory.

blessed to have read & reviewed

Peggy,
Thank you for letting me kow about your new blog and book reviews. I read so much serious stuff that some escapism reading helps me to connect with the fun in life. I dearly miss the Porch and find my thoughts often wondering about the fantastic women there. Peace, Lida
